Population served
I see individuals struggling with anxiety, eating disorders, postpartum anxiety, relationship issues, life balance issues, sleep disturbances, self esteem/confidence struggles, and depression. I work with all genders, ages 14 and up.
Individual Therapy
The first time we meet is called the intake session. This intake session will last about an hour. After that, each session is about 45-50 minutes. Due to Covid, I am currently doing all sessions virtually as opposed to in-office. Post-Covid you will have the option of continuing with telehealth or meeting in person at my office in Southpark.
Assessment
At this time, the pre-surgical Bariatric evaluations I typically conduct are on pause. This assessment must be done in person, and with Covid I am not doing in-person assessments. Once the American Psychological Association issues a statement that it is safe to return to in person meetings, I will resume pre-surgical evaluations. This is a 2 hour assessment. Along with a structured interview, you will be asked to complete the Million Behavioral Medicine Diagnostic (MBMD).
Treatment Approach.
I am a believer in positive psychology and using a strengths based approach in my work with clients. CBT, ACT, and some DBT skills are the cornerstones of my treatment approach. I am trained in the Maudsley method for family-based eating disorders work. Only using evidence-based therapy is very important to me so I can assure my clients that the work we are doing is the gold standard in treatment.
Presentations
I love presenting to groups on my topics of specialization. I am happy to create a new presentation to meet your group/organizations specific needs. I do request at least 4 weeks notice of your request to be able to block my schedule and tailor the presentation.
Pricing
Intake session: $250/60 minutes
Individual sessions: $225/50 minutes
While I am not in-network with any insurance companies, I am happy to provide a super bill for your needs. I do not file any insurance claims or make any contracts with insurance agencies.
